After months of wedding rumors and their August engagement, it appears the pop star and her NFL fiancé are all set to tie the knot later this year.

Initially, speculation was rampant about a June 13 wedding at Ocean House, where Taylor Swift also owns a massive property.

However, the rumor was debunked by the venue’s event organizers and celebrity wedding planners, who toldPage Sixthat “the pair was thinking about going all out at a totally different venue that can accommodate more attendees.”

Now, it seems Swift and Travis Kelce may have found their dream venue, asDaily Mailexclusively revealed new details of their nuptials earlier today.

According to the outlet, the couple has set their wedding for Friday, July 3, in New York City, aligning with the Fourth of July weekend, one of Swift’s favorite holidays.

Insiders reportedly told the publication that the ceremony will take place in a grand indoor venue, such as a museum or arena-like space, to accommodate a large guest list while maintaining privacy.

“Save the Date” notices have already been sent out, and toprotect their privacy, guests are reportedly required to sign strict non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) before receiving final venue details.

While the exact venue and guest list remain undisclosed, notable names expected to attend include Swift’s longtime friend Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, and Kelce’s teammates, including Patrick Mahomes.

A source claimed that the 36-year-old singer was “disappointed” that the details were leaked but has no plans to pursue legal action.

To some fans, the reported date and New York City location seemed highly believable, as it aligns with Kelce’s off-season schedule before training camp begins in mid-July, as well as the couple’s well-known love for the city.

Swift notably served as New York City’s Global Welcome Ambassador from 2014 to 2015 and even released her hit songWelcome to New Yorkas an ode to the city.

However, many skeptical netizens believe the New York City ceremonycould be a decoy, pointing to the sheer scale of major global events scheduled in the city that same week.

One user argued, “This is either…. a fake-out to hide the real wedding date and location for ‘privacy’ or the real date and location…. Personally, I think it’s the first option. Having the wedding in the de*d middle of summer (in NYC of all places) would bea miserable experiencefor everyone attending, and would give TS no privacy… It just doesn’t make sense to have it there honestly.”

During the alleged wedding date of Taylor and Travis, the 2026 FIFA World Cup will be in full swing, with New York/New Jersey serving as a host region and a match scheduled at MetLife Stadium on July 6.

In the Wednesday, April 8 episode, guest and golf legend John Daly made a controversial joke that upset some listeners.

He joked about a gym membership that included “ashtrays, cup holder, drink holder, p*rn on TV, and t*pless waitress,” which prompted laughter from both hosts.

While Travis did not respond verbally, Jason added, “I love that… I’ll get a membership to that.”

Las Vegas performer and writer Maren Wade filed the suit on March 30, alleging trademark infringement, false designation of origin, and unfair competition.

Reportedly, Wade has owned the trademark for “Confessions of a Showgirl” since 2015, using it for a column, podcast, and live touring show, and argues that Swift’s album title and aesthetic are “confusingly similar” and dilute her established brand.

TheCode Blackactress, 41, and theGleealum, 40, are expecting their first baby together, sharing the news exclusively with PEOPLE. The soon-to-be mom tells PEOPLE she found out she was pregnant on the set of her Great American Christmas movie that she was filming in New York.

"For a few days, I had this really intense congestion that came completely out of the blue. I initially thought I was having some kind of allergic reaction to something in the hotel," she tells PEOPLE. "Out of curiosity, I ChatGPT’d it and learned that the surge in pregnancy hormones can cause swelling in the nasal passages."

"That next morning, I took a test before my call time and I was completely stunned," she adds. "Keeping that news to myself while continuing to film was incredibly difficult. It felt surreal walking onto set, knowing something so life-changing, and not being able to share it yet."

Although she was away from her husband, Murray, who recently signed an exclusive multi-picture deal with Great American Media, found a special way to share the exciting news with him.

"I knew I couldn’t keep it to myself for long, especially being so far from home and still having half the movie left to film, so I told him that an 'opportunity' had come in for him through my team. I made sure not to say 'movie offer,' but I definitely implied it," she explains. "I had him FaceTime me right before I was mic’d up for my first scene and sent him an email with all the 'details.'"

"He started reading it out loud, completely focused, asking questions like, 'Who’s the director?' and 'Where is it filming?' " she continues. "And then it clicked. He immediately started crying the sweetest, happiest tears and jumping up and down. It was such a special moment."

So far, Murray says she's been "really fortunate" during her pregnancy since she's been feeling "really good" with "no extreme cravings." Her biggest challenge thus far has been getting a good night's rest.

"I’m so used to sleeping on my back, and now I have to stay on my side, which has been an adjustment," she says. "And of course, waking up every couple of hours doesn’t help with the bladder sensitivity, so it’s been a while since I’ve had a full night’s sleep."

Back in February, Murray and Geyer found out the sex of their baby on the way with an intimate reveal at a nature reserve surrounded by different animals, such as birds, squirrels and alligators. She also shares that they've narrowed down their list of potential names and are homing in on the one that feels "most natural."

"We each have our own lists, and we’ve been testing them out by yelling across the house to see which ones feel the most natural," she says. "We’ve narrowed it down to about four names that we keep coming back to. We need to make sure the name sounds good in both my American accent and my husband’s South African accent."

Murray, who has a recurring role onWhen Hope Calls: BrookfieldonGreat American Family, says she and Geyer feel "amazing," but are still in a bit of shock that they are becoming parents. She shares it was an "unexpected surprise" to find out the happy news.

"We had waited a long time to start a family because I honestly didn’t feel ready before, and since we always planned on only having one, I waited until a much later time in life. I also knew that at this stage it might not happen easily or at all, so we didn’t put pressure on it," she says. "We really just felt that it was in God’s hands that whatever was meant to be would be and no pressure either way. I think that mindset has made this experience feel even more special."

"I feel so blessed to work with a network like Great American Family during this next chapter in my life because they prioritize family above all else," Murray adds. "I get to make incredible movies that I’m proud to share with my little one in the future."

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — The best way for the Edmonton Oilers to shake off a tough loss was to let Connor McDavid take over the game.

One night after his team squandered three separate leads in anovertime defeat at Utah, McDavid delivered the kind of performance Edmonton needed.

He scored three goals for his 15th career hat trick and added two assists in a5-2 victoryover the San Jose Sharks on Wednesday that moved the Oilers into sole possession of first place in the Pacific Division.

“He knows our team needed a win,” coach Kris Knoblauch said. “We’re playing a little short-handed and he’s going to be the guy. Tonight every shift he was really dialed in and played extremely well. I’ve seen him play a lot of good games and that was one of his best.”

McDavid was sharp right from the start, scoring a power-play goal on his third shift. He assisted on a power-play goal by Vasily Podkolzin late in the first period and then added two more goals and an assist on his first seven shifts of the second to put away the game.

When McDavid is playing the way he did against the Sharks, the strategy for his teammates is simple.

“Get him the puck,” Oilers defenseman Evan Bouchard said. “When you see him playing the way he was tonight, and honestly, most of the season, you want to get him the puck. He makes things happen when not many other people can.”

McDavid got the best of his matchup against his Canadian Olympic teammate and fellowHart Trophy contender Macklin Celebrini, who scored on the power play to give San Jose a 1-0 lead.

McDavid answered that goal less than two minutes later, and the Sharks couldn't slow him down the rest of the night.

“He’s the best player in the league and he’s also the fastest so if you don’t really slow him down or get in his way he’s just going to skate by you,” Celebrini said. “It’s simple as that. You’ve seen it his whole career. I loved watching it when I was a fan but it’s super frustrating when you play against it.”

McDavid's 133 points this season are six more than Tampa Bay's Nikita Kucherov in the race for Art Ross Trophy and the second-most McDavid has had in a season to his 153 in 2022-23.

He needs three goals in the final three games for his second career 50-goal season, although his focus remains on bigger goals. Edmonton is two points ahead of Vegas in the division race, but the Golden Knights have a game in hand.

“We've got to punch our ticket,” McDavid said. “We've got three games left. We've still got to punch our ticket to the playoffs. Those individual things are nice but not at the top of mind.”

After making back-to-back trips to the Stanley Cup Final the past two springs, the Oilers have sputtered their way through much of this season. But Edmonton has gone 6-1-1 over the past eight games to move into first place in the Pacific Division.

With high-scoring teammate Leon Draisaitl possibly returning from injury for the start of the postseason, the Oilers are trying to get back into top form in time to make another deep run.

“It’s been kind of an up-and-down year for us, honestly,” McDavid said. “We still feel like our best hockey is ahead of us. We’re kind of finding it right now, which is a good time to do it.”

Catherine O'Hara's brother Michael P. O'Hara is sharing some insight into the "sort of goodbye" he shared with his sister beforeher death in January.

During the first episode of season 3 of his podcastDreams of Our Loved Ones, Michael looks back on a dream he had in which he was visited by his sister shortly before her death on Jan. 28. While sharing with his listeners that he recently had a "very unexpected and very, very sad" death in the family, Michael recalled the dream that came to him "days or a few days before she died."

"I always cherish the times I can meet with a loved one in the dream state," Michael began. "And I was hugging her, which was really beautiful. And I guess it was sort of a goodbye."

The dream served as their farewell because, as the podcast host shared, Catherine "wasn't talking much in the end" before her death. "She didn't really want to talk on the phone. And she didn't live close by, she's in Los Angeles," he explained.

The dream visitation didn't end there, according to Michael. "Since then, I've had a lovely dream where I was visiting her, and she was in a new house and it was being renovated and she was really busy choosing furniture and couches," he told listeners. "And she said, 'You can sleep here anytime, Michael. You can come over and stay anytime.'"

"And it reminded me of when I was when she was inSecond City Televisionand I was apprenticing at the Windsor Arms Hotel," he continued. "I would go over and sleep over at her place some nights because she had an extra bedroom. Yeah, pretty cool. But yeah, it was beautiful. She was just so happy and very busy in the other world that she's now in, but yeah, it's beautiful."

Michael ended the podcast telling his listeners that the bittersweetness of dream visitations was that it helped people stay connected with their "deceased loved ones."

"We're all interconnected," he added. "And the love, you know, continues no matter what. They're always with us."

Quinta Brunson breaks down Janine and Gregory's relationship cliffhanger on “Abbott Elementary” (exclusive)

Quinta Brunsonknows thatAbbott Elementaryfans will be upset after Wednesday's episode, but she's not making any apologies.

"I don't even want to say I'm sorry," the show's creator and star tellsEntertainment Weekly. "We're all going to go on a nice sun ride with each other [after this], right?"

That remains in question after fans watched Janine (played by Brunson) and Gregory (Tyler James Williams) teeter on the brink of ending their relationship afterseasons of waiting for them to finally get together.

In the episode aptly titled "Trip," the newly cohabitating couple find themselves unexpectedly at odds while planning a couple's trip. Just when they've finally landed on the Outer Banks as their destination, the itinerary proves to be a continuing source of obstacles between them. First, it's the question of whether to stay at a hotel or an Airbnb — which ends with a compromise of sourcing a B'n'B — only for the mode of transportation to prove truly insurmountable.

Although Gregory's inflexibility when it comes to choosing between taking a flight to the Outer Banks versus driving there is expected of the first-grade teacher, it's Janine's refusal to stand down that might be surprising for some fans. But maybe it shouldn't, Brunson reasons.

"This is a girl who has, over the years, learned to stand up for what she wants and to not compromise as much," the Emmy winner points out. "We talked about that a lot in the [writers'] room. Her learning, especially with a trip — there was a trip she wanted to take a few seasons ago and she was going to compromise for the sake of her mother and she learned not to do that. So she's trying to exercise that. She's trying to exercise her wants and getting what she needs."

And who couldn't respect the way Janine confronted Gregory about his less-than-compromising compromise of deciding they should go to Atlantic City instead of the Outer Banks?!

But between Janine's hard-won backbone and Gregory's doggedness, the episode-long back and forth ends with the unthinkable; the argument about their contrasting ideas for vacation ends with Janine suggesting that maybe, in light of their difficultly, they should break up.

This is why they say you should take a vacation before you move in together!

Despite the surety that fans would be sent into a tizzy over that emotional cliffhanger, Brunson shared that the fight was something she and the sitcom writers were excited about seeing played out.

"I think [we were excited] because Jeanine and Gregory are two characters we know very well, and more than anything, two characters wethinkwe know very well. So we think we know their relationship. We feel settled with it," she says. "But I think as with any relationship, the inside has its own dynamics. And I thought that they've been in such an easy ride since they got together, it was interesting to all of us to see some different layers there."

Brunson says she and the writers posed the question of what could be under the surface of Janine and Gregory's relationship to be unearthed, leading to their trials and tribulations on Wednesday.

"Gregory and Janine haven't had this kind of conflict yet," she adds. "So now it's like, what happens when these two developed characters — who have learned a lot of lessons and have done a lot of growing up — come to this kind of point in their relationship?"

But the actress notes that the fight between Janine and Gregory wasn't created simply for the sake of it; it also served as a "moment of growth" for Gregory. "I think that Gregory is a really solutions-based character, and I feel like he's like, 'I provided the solution. That's it.' And that's not always the case when it comes to our interpersonal relationships," she says. "I think that's true for all relationships, romantic, work relationships, and friendships. You really want to try to find something that actually works for both people, and that's just not always easy to do."

It was also a moment of challenge for Brunson and Williams behind the scenes. "We've been doing this for a long time now and you kind of get used to being able to play certain things with your character," Brunson says. "We're used to playing with the kids, we're used to playing nice and fun, and we're used to playing dramatic in other elements, but this was a new challenge for him and I as actors."

"It's kind of fun," the actress adds, laughing. "It's the stuff that makes you feel like you're back in acting class, your character, a new element throne at it, something new to develop. Who is Gregory in this moment? Who is Janine in this moment? And it's fun, honestly, as actors. This last episode and the one where they move in with each other were both episodes where Tyler and I felt a challenge in how we do these things to make sense."

Brunson shares that the challenge went beyond just her and Williams — even the episode's director and supervising director, Razan Ghalayini and Randall Einhorn, respectively, held "a longer tone meeting than usual."

"We really took the time to be like, how is this going to feel? This is a monumental moment for these two characters, as well as our writer of this episode, Ava Coleman," Brunson says. "I felt like we had a two-part tone meeting, which we very rarely do, because this is a big moment. And then on set, same. We took more time to shoot these scenes than we normally would because we really wanted to feel it out in rehearsal and feel it out in the direction."

She continues, "There were smaller elements like Razan choosing to shoot farther away rather than in closeups in certain scenes. Sometimes it was like, 'Oh, we need to be a bit further away for this because even our camera crew in the show doesn't feel like they should be this close to this discussion. This is between these two characters.' So it was a fun challenge for all of us."

Hopefully the knowledge that the crew behind the cameras were working hard to bring the drama will make any fans feeling personally victimized by the cliffhanger ending of Wednesday's episode feel better!

Virginia women's basketball hires Richmond's Aaron Roussell as head coach

Virginia didn’t have to look far for its next women’s basketball coach.

Aaron Roussell will be the next head coach at Virginia,the school announced Tuesday evening. For the last seven years, Roussell has been the head coach at Richmond, turning the Spiders into a mid-major power.

Now, Roussell will test out his winning formula in the ACC.

“Aaron is a proven winner who embodies the university’s values of integrity, leadership, academic excellence and student-athlete development," Virginia athletic director Carla Williams said in a statement.

He inherits a program that just went to the Sweet 16 for the first time since 2000, but one that lost its last head coach to murky circumstances. Virginia announced on Saturday morning that it had fired Amaka Agugua-Hamilton, anda USA TODAY Sports reportlater revealed that she was subject to an internal investigation and there were allegations of staff mistreatment.

Powered by Kymora Johnson —who is now in the transfer portal— Virginia became the first team since the Women’s NCAA Tournament expanded to 68 teams in 2022 to advance to the second weekend of March Madness after starting in the First Four. The Cavaliers defeated Arizona State, Georgia and Iowa before falling to TCU in the Sweet 16.

Agugua-Hamilton went 70-58 overall and 29-42 in ACC play. This season marked Virginia’s first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2018, when it made the second round in Joanne Boyle’s final season at the helm.

While Virginia has largely struggled since then, through the tenure of Tina Thompson and Agugua-Hamilton’s early years, Roussell was building Richmond into one of the best mid-major programs in the country. The Spiders — steered on the court by likelyfuture WNBA Draft pick Maggie Doogan— won at least 20 games in each of the past four seasons and have gone to three consecutive NCAA Tournaments.

Richmond won a March Madness game last season, defeating Georgia Tech in the first round. This season, the Spiders were the onlymid-major team to earn an at-large bidinto the field of 68. Roussell went 148-72 at Richmond, winning two Atlantic 10 titles and twice earning conference coach of the year honors.

A graduate of Iowa, Roussell got his start in coaching in the midwest as an assistant at Division II Minnesota State before becoming the head coach at Division III University of Chicago. Roussell led the Maroons to three conference championships and four NCAA Tournament appearances in eight seasons.

He then made the jump to Division I in 2012 by taking over at Bucknell. Under Roussell’s guidance, the Bison won three Patriot League titles and went to a pair of NCAA Tournaments. He was twice named Patriot League Coach of the Year.

Roussell is one victory shy of 300 for his career as a Division I head coach, but also won 161 games at Chicago.

Virginia moved quickly on this search after firing Agugua-Hamilton on Saturday. Three people directly connected to the search told USA Today Sports that the Cavaliers had a conversation with Fairfield coach Carly Thibault-DuDonis, expressed interest in Kentucky’s Kenny Brooks and also internally considered Navy's Tim Taylor — who is a Charlottesville native and coached under Hall of Famer Debbie Ryan. Ultimately, athletic director Carla Williams, with the help of Parker Executive Search, narrowed their focus to Roussell who has won a whole lot of games just 70 miles southeast of Virginia’s campus. Despite bankrolling Agugua-Hamilton’s roster, the people familiar with the search said that Reddit founder and Virginia alum Alexis Ohanian was not directly involved with the search.

Roussell will be the fifth head coach in the history of the program and the first man to be the head coach of the women’s basketball team at Virginia. The Cavaliers have a proud history in the sport, as Ryan led the Cavaliers to a trio of Final Four appearances in the early 1990s with teams powered by Dawn Staley and Tammi Reiss.

“My family and I are beyond excited to lead the UVA Women’s Basketball program into a bright and prosperous future,” Roussell said. “We are well aware of the rich history and tradition of this program, and we look forward to putting the UVA program into the nation’s elite on a consistent basis.”

Virginia also owns 11 ACC titles, but hasn’t won one since 2000. It will be Roussell’s job to get them back to that championship status.
